# About

I’m a full stack developer, sixteen years of it, most of that time in PHP and Laravel. Right now I’m remote and full time at [Mixvoip](https://www.mixvoip.com/), a European telephony company, and I keep a few hours a day for client work, which is enough for one project at a time.

On the side I build and run small software products of my own, [MyMeta.page](https://mymeta.page/) and [Restocked.app](https://restocked.app/), and write about how they’re made. Running them myself, billing and support included, taught me more about shipping than any job has.

Day to day that means the LIV stack, Laravel, Inertia and Vue, with Tailwind and MySQL underneath, plus Python and Odoo, and a lot of Linux, Bash and Git holding it all up. Over the years I’ve worked across the rest of the usual web stack too: PHP, JavaScript, REST, and more WordPress than I care to admit.

A good deal of that work now runs through [Claude Code](https://junaidqadir.com/uses/). Not as a novelty. It changes how much one developer can carry in a day, and it hands you inventive new ways to make a mess if you’re careless with it. So I keep the prompts I actually use [out in the open](https://junaidqadir.com/prompts/), and when I want to know whether my own habits hold up, [I ask the tool to audit them](https://junaidqadir.com/blog/ask-claude-code-to-review-how-you-work/) instead of assuming they do.

I write, I’m a wanna-be podcaster, and I’ve spoken at [University of Turbat](http://uot.edu.pk/) ([slides](https://slides.com/junaidqadir/modern-web-development-tools#/)) and at the first [Laravel Pakistan Meetup](https://www.facebook.com/events/662245517267316/) in Karachi ([slides](https://slides.com/junaidqadir/laravel-developers-ultimate-toolbelt#/)). The early stretch of my career was in the digital marketing industry, as a developer and then a project manager. [The full record is on my CV](https://junaidqadir.com/cv/).

I like music of many genres ranging from Balochi Zaheerok to Metal Rock, instrumentals preferably.

I like to talk about languages of the world and know very basics of French and Persian. Persian is the one I’m actively learning right now. By the way, I have attended a full semester of French language certificate course during my Masters at the University of Karachi.
